Within the programme on the Japanese channel NHK, called The Professionals, in a special episode focusing on The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekaz Ishihara, a new game was showcased. They first showcased some images of a beta version of a sequel to Pokémon Trozei. In this, they showed a meeting discussing the various issues with the 3DS notably the top and bottom screen being different sizes, and the intent for it to be a download title. It's currently unclear on the status of this game.
They're working on a detective game featuring Pikachu as a partner. This game has an alleged development cycle of 2 years, with release expected in 2015. A rare Pikachu is said to be the enemy within this game but they can't see people liking it. The game is said to feature a special Blue Pikachu, which talks. The Pikachu is being controlled via motion capture and facial recognition.
